Sony BMG appoints ex-VF Content Director

Sony BMG has appointed Graeme Ferguson as SVP of digital of strategic partnerships – as some of you may know Ferguson is the former Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) content director, who was responsible for the launch of Vodafone Live!
Whilst perhaps not the biggest announcement we’ve reported on this year, it could mark significant aspirations in Sony BMG’s strategy going forward – with a huge amount of Mobile experience, you can imagine that Ferguson has some remit of wireless devices within his new role. Since digi-downloads are the way that Music is going now, it will be interesting to see how, if, and when Sony BMG bring in new services and offerings….
