UK: want an iPhone3G on 25.7.08? O2 stores have some…

Yep, just a quickie really – as many of you who are after the IP3G may know, O2 (NYSE: TEF) are regularly updating a page on their website with the availability of hardware at their various stores. Reading between the lines, it appears they don’t have any 16 Giggers, only the 8 Gig models, which would fall in with what our iPhone guru will is saying about stock shortages globally.
Anyhoo, you can check out O2’s webpage with store availablity info here.

Stock Shortage? The link above – at 10:41 UK time – is listing every store they have :O)
There is a stock shortage globally (which doesn’t mean none, just limited numbers), and particularly of the 16Gb model. What I suspect is that all the stores will have 2-3 devices, which will sell out fast no doubt.
Friday 25th was/is supposedly the day when they were due to get lots more stock in – but when you divide by the number of stores, it may well not have equated to that much
Was more tongue in cheek.. The web site didn’t update on Thursday – no availability?, Wednesday only had 4 stores, and prior to that it maxed out at 10 or so a day. It’s just ironic that you post this url when ALL stores have some stock..Very usefull.
In o2’s defence they were stocking different stores each day, and they’re even sending stock to stores where there is no 3G coverage for miles…..
