Opera 9.5 – always good to use a browser that is faster, more stable and supports more standards than the other browsers available in the OS or for download. Waiting to get the free license.
Will it work for sidekick lx?
I usually use my web browser when im away from my pc at home.I like to keep up to date with my favourite sites, mobile news etc. while on the go
I use my phone for everything, surf the web (facebook, blogs, news sites, etc.), emails, gps directions, taking random pics of random crap, harassing my friends in the middle of the night with annoying nonstop texting, calendar/appointment reminders, as my alarm, and some games. That’s most of what I can think of right off the bat.
The new features of Opera will help me be more happy because it is faster then than the WinMo IE (and I don’t have to open Java like the Mini version of Opera), it lets me run Opera Widgets, and it’s supposedly hell-of-fast.
I use my phones so much I wonder how I’d cope without them! Been waiting for 9.5 for a long time and I’m hoping that it will be a great replacement for the S60 browser.
I use my Dash for surfin’ the web and Opera kicks a** over PIE. I’m using mini right now. Intomobile rocks!
1)how do you use your mobile phone? I use my phone for making and receiving calls of course. texting is a big part also since i have full qwerty keyboard. I play games such as the awesome bubble breaker & I’m addicted to no limit texas hold’em. I write songs so I use the voice notes to sing the ideas I have for melodies so I don’t forget them. I also use my phone for browsing the internet
2) how you think Opera Mobile 9.5’s new features will help you be more productive, happy, social?
well the new opera mobile 9.5 will make me happy because unfortunately i don’t have internet at home so when I am home I use my phone to browse the internet. With 9.5 I know it will make it easier to access my favorite sites. it will definitely help me socially because i use frequently access the social networking sites such as myspace & facebook wuite frequently and the current browser i am using times out and says no more memory available all the time. doesnt load pictures very will also. yep I need a more effecient browser for my pda phone
Using opera mini on my e61. Mostly for rss and weather forcasts. Syncing bookmarks with desktop is nice. Sometimes have to fall back to built in browser for tricky sites. 9.5 bring it on (as the wiseman says)
My old Symbian browser is dying. Help me get over the pain.
I’m using Opera Mini now. Looking forward to trying the new features and FLASH!
In addition to the obvious, I use my smartphone for email, as a mini-computer carrying the documents and spreadsheets that I need to reference, and as a navigational guide. Opera 9.5 will better enable me to access work and other websites. Explorer $#@ks!
Lets see here! I own a Palm Centro smartphone and I would say my main use is definitly internet! I have accounts on myspace, deviant art, yahoo, google, HERE, etc. that I check daily on my phone. The only problem is that I have tried and downloaded Opera Mini before on my phone and I get this error that sayes, “Please ensure that IBM’s WebSphere Micro Environment Java VM is installed” No idea what that means so unfortunately I haven’t been able to use and version of the app. I would love to have it because all the reading I’ve done on it suggests that it had a full html browser. I would love to have a feature like that so I can view the web in a more crisp sort of way. If by any chance I do win this, can you please let me know how to fix this error?

I use ie on my xv6800 all day and im tired of it. I need a full functioning browser. I am a beta tester for skyfire but its kinda slow and difficult to use. please let me be one of the lucky people to get the license.
Hi. I use the internet on my phone to look up all sorts of things. Mostly it is used in conjuction with my RSS reader. I constantly update my RSS feeds and most of them I end up clicking on some sort of link inside them (Mostly http://www.intomobile.com of course).
I have been using Opera Mobile for years. It puts Pocket Internet Explorer to shame.
I wouldn’t mind the Opera browser. I use pocket internet explorer and it makes me want to throw up every time I load a website :’( Pages don’t load properly and I would like to be the “full” web on a smartphone (touch).
I Use Opera on my laptop and would love to have 9.5 on my PPC6700. I use the browser for Web email, Web Time tracking, News, Sports, parts lookup, and sometimes a video clips
I use my GSM to pop my popcorn, take photographs, update my website, and upload pictures to Flickr to share with my family back home.
My att tilt is so looking for a browser to be its soulmate. Opera 9.5 looks like a fine, fine suitor. You complete me Opera 9.5. Oh, Intomobile you guys ain’t so bad yourselves.
I usually use Opera Mini on my mobile device to access my Yahoo and Windows Live account. I do most of my blogging on my cellphone. Sometimes I even do some internet calling using some of the popular mobile internet calling softwares. I constantly use the alarm feature on my phone as well as a lot of text messaging. Thanks to the QWERTY keyboard on my phone, it makes typing, texting, entering web addresses, and blogging a breeze.
How I use my mobile recently? I’ll put in list
- Frequently making voice calls, SMSes & email (outlook)
- Video calls to family members
- Browsing internet (normally Google Reader, as a home page), before sleeping I dial-up internet to download torrent (movie & magazine)
- Using Sport tracker, to measure how much petrol/km I use everyday (FYI, Petrol price just increase in my country)
I’m using E90 with 3G Unlimited data. huhuhu…
I use my HTC Mogul everyday, i check, emails, news, scores and sometimes make purchases on woot. I usually will use opera mini up until the point where it will freeze and then I have to restart my phone, I rarely use IE mobile since its not very web site friendly. I’m been waiting for the day for a new mobile browser to come out and make my mobile experience a lot better. I know Opera has a winner in their hands. Now, if they could only do something about the gas prices…
Thanks for reading.
Opera Software is just awesome! The greatest thing since slice bread.
Ah, finally 9.5.
Well, after IE gives me so many frustrations I pray to get one Opera 9.5.
Being a heavy Pocket PC and Internet user I strongly believe that the new version of Opera ccertainly will bring speedy and convenient web browsing on my smart phone.
Finally (I hope), I can do some blogging since IE prevented me for doing that.
In addition, the features like Grab and Scroll, Flash support, and Web search in address bar will ease my everyday life.
I use my smartphone more than my PC, Opera is a must have for a user like me.
Its features and speed blow me away…
I use my mobile for the usual, you know, browsing, email, and learning new things on the toilet…
Amazing!
“But, once, Opera Mobile 9.5 goes “gold,” Opera will be pulling asking customers for a nominal purchase fee.”
Really? When and where was this announced?
“The FREE licenses we’re giving away can be used to purchase Opera Mobile 8.65 immediately, and can be upgraded to the new Opera Mobile 9.5 final.”
When and where was this announced?
I use my mobile to upload pictures to flickr and find locations when i`m traveling. Opera helps me alot on this tasks
Surfing for movie times on my phone will be a lot more fun if I had Opera Mobile 9.5, I can do a bit more multitasking!
Opera has been the greatest browser for as long as I’ve been using my Nokia. Love the previous versions, will love the new one.
Can’t imagine my day without my RSS FEEDS + coffee in the morning.
I,ve just downloaded the beta. It is the best browser to date and it’s in beta form! I have to have it, there’s no doubt about it! It’s very comforting to know that Winmo devices will be on par with that other phone within the next year. No need to jump platform just yet if you’re patient. Good things come to those who wait. When Multi-touch Winmo 7 and Opera Mobile 9.5 activate their wonder twin powers that other phone will become the other phone.
I’d love to get my hands on Opera Mobile 9.5!
I’m a hot air balloon pilot and use my WM phone to get accurate weather information when out in the field. I need a great browser that allows me to zoom into radar images, or read detailed text weather reports.
As the data available to pilots had gotten better, the demands on the mobile browser increase. I’m excited to use OM 9.5 and make my job easier and safer!
Opera simply kicks ***!
I read my RSS feeds with in my mobile browser, and the built in browser sucks! Opera mobile would help me follow intomobile oh so much better!
I browse using my HTC Touch. IE is just too clunky for me. Opera Mini kept crashing, but Opera Mobile for the past week seems rock solid. I love it!
i use opera mini 4 on my Helio Ocean…will this work? if not im gettin a new phone anyway
Since i got my N95 8GB i began depending on it to check most of my online interests instead of using my notebook.
Opera mobile browser would sure enhance my mobile online experience a lot.
How do I use my E51. Mostly google maps and the web browser but I’m also beta testing some push mail solutions. I used to run palringo and other IM/voip apps. Truphone was great for a while. I used 8.65 mobile on my N80 until the display failed. I used to use the divx player a lot on my N80. I’ve used sportstracker recently. I use internet radio and ssh when I really need it. I use oggplay and podcasting every day with A2DP headphones. I’ve tested flixwagon, kyte and qik but I’m not a journalist so I dont really see the point.
I have a screenshot archive on vox.
So I’m still a bit confused about Opera’s laggy symbian support.
I browse frequently on my N73 but the browser on it just doesn’t do very well. It is hard to use and sssslllloooooowww. So please, help me!
I’m addicted to this blog. Please help me read more often
I want borwsing YouTube videos. Opera mini and IE sucks…
I browse a lot from my E65, so Opera Mobile would be perfect for me. Mainly I use Google Reader (iPhone version), but I also browse news web sites. I do all my calendar and agenda management on my phone too. Oh, that and play some Virtual Pool
just loving it ! installed today on my hp ipaq 4700
here is my impresion:
wm6.1 ; touch feedback
: good, memory usage : kinda high , open speed : slow ; page load : quick ; flashlite support : disabled
overall : could be better , i hope the final version will rock
i use it on my pda for checking stocks, mail etc
Since I own a HTC phone, I should be able to do almost anything with it. I haven’t tried them all, but it seems it can orbit around Earth, scare annoying dogs or make my girlfriend really, really happy (no more details there buddy!).
But I don’t use any of above mentioned features. I am busy all the time, browing the web. With a slow-ass browser. Now, if I would win the new Opera browser, I could browse the web faster, so I’ll be done browsing much quicker, so I will then actually have the time to try the beam-me-up-scotty feature, use the integrated beermaker-thingy or make my grilfriend really, really happy!
IntoMobile, please help me out here!
Anxious to try this on my XV6700. Pocket IE is garbage. It’s nice to see Opera giving Safari/iPhone a run for its money.
