By now it’s clear that T-Mobile (NYSE: DT)’s newest HipTop, the Sidekick 2008, will be launching sooner rather than later. Good thing, considering T-Mobile will probably want to release a handset named for the year 2008 with as much time left on the 2008-clock as possible.

I see, if your a sidekick man, then the touch is your only option for relief. I have waited six yrs for the upgrades the “touch” is suppose to have. Such as video, bigger camera pixel, download capacity for video, music, and pics.

This phone looks like the lx to me with the I.d. Graphics I saw it and it didn’t impress me. I think tmobile should upgrade and let the sidekicks play videos of the web and do more things so it can attract attention. They keep making new phone with similar designs and they all mostly do the same thing.

I got the 08 and its dope as fuck , the lx has 4 corner mood lights and flash ….besides that nothing, the 08 has 2.0 megapixel vs the lx 1.3 but we have no flash and reading from the previous post my shit runs and works great not slow at all and the lx is hella bulky feels like sk3 when i hold the lx 08 is the shit and thats on mamas
keep your 08 or lx mint and just sell in when the touch comes out …thats why i do
I had the sk3 and the slide and got sick of em quick do I dumped tmobile and got with verizon and “grew up” to a blackberry curve.they are dope plus I get my work email directly to the device and I’m waiting on the blackberry thunder (storm) I think the sidekicks are targeted to a younger crowd like 13-22,its a dummy proof phone tho haha
I love sk 08. Its smaller, slimmer, better. I just hope it can be upgraded soon with a flash player and then I will be satisfied. Its many features on here you just have to look. I have sweet a$$ custom shells too. One question. What’s with the sidekick touch?

I have no clue what all the trash talking about sdk 08 is about. My cousin has the LX and the only cool thing about hers is the flashing lights. I just bought the 08 and I absolutely love this phone! It’s user friendly, looks great, slimmer design, not slow in my opinion, I have cute shells, and too me there are more features on my phone then my cuzzo’s. Haven’t heard ANYTHING about a touch and I wouldn’t want one. A sdk touch would be soo awkward and it would have to be huge. I agree they should update sdks with video,etc. But I also agree that I would touch another model from another company (Instinct maybe) b4 I invest in a sdk touch.

The sidekick 2008 is cool,but if you already own an LX its pointless to purchase the 2008. They both offer video,and voice record.Though the 2008 offers a 2.0 megapixel camera,the LX has a built in flash to support its pics.Those who already own an LX definetly should wait for the Sidekick touch.
Well guys what can I say, I have the sk’08 and its really great it takes nice pics, videos ( that’s new on sk) and u can receive pics and videos also, the browser its much better, I really love these phone and about the sk touch well I think its not a sk it has another name but anyways what can I know u guys look they’re guru of these phones and pls no bad words

I am a owner of sidekick 3, slide, I’d, Lx, and latest sk 08…I don’t think it is slow at all compare 2 the other sidekicks my friend have a sidekick 3 and omg compare to the 08 the graphics nd stuff is well not clear, nd high tech lookin…of course as a sidekick user I heard about the sidekick touch too…I have no idea what it is nd when its gonna come out but I use the touch on an iphone nd it just well,,suck o.o because when u type nd u accident touch another letter by a single light touch it mess up the whole word..I rather stick too the normal buttons…but! If the sk touch got new features of course I have to get it! But am not even sure if its true or just a rumor…yet all my friends around me keep sayin there is gunna be a sk touch…itz all around my school. But we all have to wait and see what Tmobile got in stock for us this tyme.
