MOTOROKR U9Fido has added the Motorola U9 to its portfolio. Moto’s kinda strange looking clamshell seems targeted towards youth (and so is Fido) and in that sense its design may be appealing to some people, while others may find it quite ugly.

Specs wise, the quad-band MOTOROKR U9 boasts a 2-inch QVGA screen, 2 megapixel camera, 30MB of on-board memory, microSD slot, Bluetooth support, media player and 820 mAh Li-Ion battery. As for the size, it measures 90×48.6×16.4 mm and weighs 87.5 grams.

Fido is selling the device from CA$75 with a 3-year agreement all the way up to CA$350 sans any contract. More information is available on Fido’s website.
