MGM goes live on Vodafone in Germany

MGM has just announced it’s first big agreement with Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) Germany. The MGM Channel, which is currently a German-language channel on Pay TV in Europe, is now going to be available through Vodafone.
The MGM Channel is available on the 3G Vodafone Live! network in Germany, offering movies from the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film library – including films from the Pink Panther and Rocky franchises, as well as The Thomas Crown Affair, Terminator, Man in the Iron Mask and Robocop, among many others.
Vodafone have about six million subs with video capable handsets, and currently offer over 40 channels, in addition to an EPG, and free TV reminders over SMS.
