Samsung i900 Omnia coming in white?

Samsung obviously wants to attract those people who like the iPhone, but don’t dig the idea of having to bind themselves to a carrier they don’t like, which happen to be Apple (NSDQ: AAPL)’s partner.

That being said, we’ve just spotted what seems as the i900 Omnia in white. As you’re probably already aware, the device in question is one of those iPhone killer phones. It runs Windows Mobile 6.1 and has that optical joystick and a 5 megapixel camera — all which make you wanna pull the trigger and pour out as much cash as needed.

Will the new color help Samsung attract the all-touchscreen device lovers? It’s hard to tell at this stage, especially when we’re not 100% sure Samsung will actually launch the Omnia in white. Waiting is all we can do…

UPDATE: According to CNet Asia, the white Omnia will initially be released in Singapore. We’ve no clue whether they’ll ship it elsewhere at this stage, but I doubt Samsung will miss the opportunity…
