It has been proven cell phones CAN interfere with aviation equipment. In this scenario the author would probably be writing about the safety of cell phones on planes, rather than bitching about not being able to use them. In this scenario the author would probably be writing about the safety of cell phones on planes, rather than bitching about not being able to use them.
