I have the new Z6w from Fido.
The phone is awesome, the firmware Fido has loaded in is crap. The wifi is disabled, you cannot do web browing over Wifi Even if it has a connection, it always goes via your rogers/fido connection so you get billed. Also the Fido team has converted 2 of the main buttons into Quick Connect Internet buttons so you accidentally log on more often. They also removed the options that allow you to change those buttons.
Get the phone, flash it, and suddenly everything works the way you wanted it too. Free Internet and phone calls in WiFi areas, completely configurable buttons, etc. Fido really screwed it's customers on this one.
Don't Believe me? Ask them to change the main two quick-start buttons on the phone. It cannot be done.
