AT&T selling iPhone 3G online

Why wait in those long lines to get your hands on the iPhone 3G when you could just put in an online order for one of the year’s hottest handsets? AT&T (NYSE: T) has kicked off online sales of the iPhone 3G through its online storefront, but only to their business suit wearing customers.

While the rest of us might have the time to brave those iPhone 3G lines, AT&T is apparently assuming that their business account holders just can’t pencil-in a few hours out of their 9-to-5 day to wait in line for the iPhone 3G. As such, anyone with access to a business account can place an order for the iPhone 3G 8GB Black, iPhone 3G 16GB Black, or iPhone 3G 16GB White through AT&T’s B2B online store. The iPhone 3G 8GB and iPhone 3G 16GB will cost the same $199 and $299, respectively, that you’ll pay in an Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) store.
So, what are you waiting for? Get that iPhone 3G hooked up on your snazzy business account already!
