Bebo heads Mobile with Global Head apppointment

Social networking site Bebo has appointed Sean Kane as it’s “Global Head of Mobile”, as the site looks to grow it’s 45mn members. Bebo recently linked up with UK Operators including Orange, T-Mobile (NYSE: DT), and O2 (NYSE: TEF) Ireland – and has got Kane on board to develop compelling mobile experiences
Kane comes from a social networking platform provider called Intercasting Corporation, which Bebo already had close ties with. He also has had other heavyweight appointments in Vivendi and MP3.com previously.
Mobile is key play now for many of the social networking providers, as they drive to make access ubiquitous to their platforms – let’s see what cool stuff Bebo comes up wiith now!
