Vodafone Germany offers Bundesliga via 3G streaming

Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) Germany is to broadcast all 612 first and second division Bundesliga matches in the 2008/09 season live to customers will 3G Mobile phones, via streaming. The offer is via something called “Vodafone Live! Football Flatrate”, and will cost 7.50 EUR per month, of which the first month is a free trial. Users will even be able to switch between matches occuring at the same time!

Sounds like a nice deal to me, especially with the day’s highlights that are thrown in the package – definitely a happy day for Footie supports who are on Vodafone Germany’s network!
