As a Windows and Linux user who has purchased several Apple products over the years including three Macs, my overall experience is that Apple's concern for the customers ends the day the product is purchased. After that their solution to every issue is to buy a new, updated product from them. Good business plan, but in the long run it doesn't make a lot of friends.

I'm in the same boat as cebusa! This is ridiculous! My network was totally fine. I figured "why not update?" I figured it couldn't make anything worse and now NONE of my 3rd party apps work. They startup for 2 seconds and sends me back to the springboard menu. This has happened before but all I had to do was restart the phone or DL a new app which kick starts the rest somehow. But nothings working and it's been this way for days. I'm fuckin pissed. Is there a way to downgrade back to 2.0.1??????!!

I just installed the 2.02 update today and now none of my third party apps work, in fact they do not even launch. I've tried everything suggested by various users but nothing works for me. The sad thing is that I did not even need to take the update, my 3G connectivity worked fine. Screw it, my employer uses Blackberry's and that's the way I'm going now. Good job Apple...idiots.

Version 2.0.0 and 2.0.1 worked ok for me. A crash here and there. But now, 2.0.2 is stuck in a perpetual loop of not installing and trying to re-install. LAME. I can't even use my phone!!! :(

It might be time to start looking at a more reliable replacement for my iPhone. Mobile Windows platform is looking really good now.

Unfortunately I HAD a relatively stable iPhone until the 2.0.2 update. Kind of an interesting, new experience, having an update actually cause more problems than existed previously.

Anyhow, stringing out the problem is obviously a cunning ploy by Apple to get frustrated users to admit defeat and eventually accept that their phone will never actually work as it should :-)

That Steve Jobs, he's no ninny....
