Samsung i900 Omina coming to Russia as WiTu

Samsung will be selling its flagship iPhone-killin’ device i900 Omnia in Russia as the Samsung WiTu. Aside from the name, specs wise the device remain the same, except the fact that the 8GB version of the device won’t be available — Russians will be able to grab the 16GB model, only. In addition, the Samsung WiTu will include widgets for quick access to Russian popular sites – Championat, Gistemeteo, Odnoklassniki.Ru, Yandeks.Probki, RBC-News, Afisha; and will also come pre-loaded with Anglo-Russian and Russian-English dictionaries ABBYY Lingvo.
Finally, to promote the new smartphone, Samsung is running a promotion from September 1st to November 30th giving WiTu buyer free access to the Internet from the Golden WiFi…

Wow! It’s great phone. Samsung VS iPhone… lol
Very interesting description of the Samsung i900 Omnia that is renamed WiTu (!!?) to be sold in Russia. Apparently, its price will be 2′000 RUR (8 percent)lower than HTC Diamond and it would be rather good news. What is unclear in the review is whether one can operate the new Samsung WiTu in English, or is it (again) a device that works in Russian only.
