KPN launches Mobile TV with NSN tech

Nokia (NYSE: NOK) Siemens Networks (NSN) has launched a 10-channel DVB-H service in the Netherlands, for Mobile Operator KPN. More channels are expected in the future, said KPN.

For right now though, that’s a nice offering – and it syncs up very nicely indeed with the launch of the N96 – arguably one of the few stylish DVB-H devices. As we know, the N96’s good audio, kickstand, and compliance with Nokia’s flavour of DVB-H, make it a great candidate for this deployment.

And I wouldn’t bet against Nokia letting a few more DVB-H devices out of the stable by the end of the year, just to shore things up!
