HTC rolls out Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM update for AT&T Tilt (Kaiser)

Sure, the HTC TyTn II (Kaiser) has already been playing nice with the Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM for some time now, courtesy of HTC. But, those of you with AT&T (NYSE: T)’s own-branded version of the HTC Kaiser - the AT&T Tilt - have had to wait for AT&T and HTC to join forces and roll-out a carrier-branded version of the Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM. That wait, dear Kaiser-users, is now over.
AT&T and HTC have finally made good on their promise (well, more like our expectations) to bring AT&T Tilt users the long-awaited Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM update. The new WM6.1 ROM brings new features and functionality to the AT&T Tilt:
- Windows Mobile 6.1
- HTC Home Screen
- Video Share Calling
- Threaded SMS
- MS Voice Command
- OneNote Mobile
- Remote Desktop Monitor
- Enroll Domain
- Managed Programs
- PTT Button now available for reassignment under Start>Settings>Buttons.

Just received my 4th replacement/warranty return AT&T Tilt. My first purchase in November 2007 has been plagued with problems, and as stated, 3 previous exchanges by AT&T for a “reconditioned Unit.
The latest Unit however..works like a charm. It does have Win Mob 6.1, and the new ROM and Radio. What a beaut. And it wasn’t a Recon Unit either. The internal logs showed NO phone time - where previous Recon units had timer readings indication prior ownership. Was ready to dump the Tilt a few months ago - between Replacements #2 and #3. But finally I have a machine/device that matches the price I paid !
What is the ROM and Radio version. Id you ever faced the “No Service” an exclamation mark after the tower icon, basically sayign that there is not netwrok.
