LG KB770 has DVB-T

Mobile Gazette has broken a story about the LG KB770, with the main headline being that there is a DVB-T tuner on-board. DVB-T means that the device can pick up free-to-air terrestrial broadcasts, which makes for cheap Mobile TV!

Quite apart from the tuner however, there are a number of other OK/impressive specs:

• HSDPA-capable
• 3″ touch screen
• 3MP camera
• Video capture: 320 x 240 pixels at 15 fps
• MicroSD slot
• Stereo Bluetooth
• Weight: 109 grams

So we have a pretty reasonable phone, nice form factor, and reasonable specs - apparently in addition to that the price point will come in at UK-equivalent £360. I say equivalent, because it’s going on sale in Germany, SIM-free.

As Mobile Gazette neatly points out, a nicer name wouldn’t have gone amiss either….
