Motorola Renegade V950Sprint has added a new Nextel Direct Connect phone – the Motorola (NYSE: MOT) Renegade V950. The Moto-made clamshell, while not particularly beautiful, is slim and built to Military specifications 810F for dust, shock, vibration and blowing rain.

Other specs include push-to-talk support, 3G, 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth. As for the services supported, potential Renegade V950 users can count on Sprint (NYSE: S) Music Store, Sprint Radio, Sprint TV, Sprint Mobile Sync, Mobile Email and Instant Messaging.

In a nutshell, the Motorola Renegade V950 isn’t a device for everyone. Rather it’s a phone for those that really require a tough handset to use it under all conditions. Sprint is selling the device for $129.99 with a two-year agreement and with a $50 mail-in-rebate.
