I think the cosmetic facelift is not needed as much as other things on this phone. I would have to complain about the 200MHz processor not being upgraded to take care of the dreaded sluggish speeds for the nice Touchflow 3D user interface. I have the CDMA Sprint HTC Touch which Sprint gave a much needed facelift over a year ago by doubling the processor speed to 400MHz and providing much more RAM. Upgrading the processor speed for this GSM version should have been the primary focus, at least they are upgrading the RAM, and the cosmetic stuff should be secondary. I would have been much more interested in this phone if there was any mention of changing the screen to a capacitive touch type. I am surprised at how few phones at least in the U.S. have this type of touch screen.

This is no different than the original Touch. Who would buy this ancient technology when TouchPro/Diamond are available? I will be stunned if any major network picks this up. Probably destined for the small carriers who aren't going to launch other touch screen devices.
