Sony Ericsson IDP-100 photo frame

Guess we all waited this to happen. After all when you have a full line of camera phones, adding a photo frame seems like a next logical move. Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) did just that and few days ago they’ve unveiled their first digital photo frame IDP-100, touting it as the “ideal accessory to your Cyber-Shot phone.”

Images from a mobile phone or digital camera can be transferred to Sony Ericsson’s frame in three ways – using flash memory cards (M2, microSD, or MS Duo are supported), USB cable or via Bluetooth, which is the easiest solution for mobile phone users. The frame is 7-inches wide, shows WVGA resolution (800×480) and also supports auto-rotation. In addition, it is “touch-enabled” and can also act as a world clock, displaying up to three different time zones.

The Sony Ericsson IDP-100 will be available in selected markets in Q4 in dark grey.
