Verizon Wireless announces new mobile games

There’s no doubts mobile gaming is taking off. Verizon Wireless knows that, hence they’ve announced new content providers and new games:

  • Gameloft – Asphalt Urban GT: Multiplayer
  • Glu Mobile – The Dark Knight, Get Cookin and CrossPix
  • Konami – Emoticons Mobile, Gold Miner, Hellboy: The Stench of Evil and Metal Gear Solid Mobile
  • Mobitween – YamZ, ReverZi, Sudoku Master 1-3, Solitaire, Words of Fear, Axe of Terror, Saint Patrick’s Day
  • Namco Networks – USA TODAY Txtpert, PAC-MAN Arcade Golf and SubMerged
  • RealNetworks – Sally’s Salon and Text Twist Turbo
  • SkyZone Entertainment – The Rise of Atlantis, Escape! and Twinkle Town
  • Smashing Ideas – Boomerang Stan, Custom Shop, Shooting Starfish and Poker Solitaire
  • Sony Pictures Television – James Bond: Top Agent, Rock & Roll Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune Deluxe and Afterworld

To grab some of the games mentioned above, you’ll need a Get It Now enabled handset. Afterwards, go to the Games in the Get It Now or Media Center virtual store and take it from there.
