AT&T announces Samsung Rugby

AT&T (NYSE: T) and Samsung launched a tough little phone today called the Rugby, which might not be much to look at, but packs 3G, GPS, push-to-talk, video sharing via 1.3 megapixel camera and military-grade toughness. This is a great little flip for anyone in a rough-and-tumble environment, let alone the construction setting they’re pushing in the press release. In order to promote the Rugby A837, AT&T’s cutting their PTT service cost by $5, which you can’t complain about, but the real savings will be for companies buying in bulk. Individuals will have to shell out $129.99 on a two-year plan, but if you’re activating five or more lines, it’ll only be $79.99 a pop. Head on over to AT&T’s online store for specs and shopping details.
