They did not properly answer the questions (which seemed important). Either they don't get English, or they don't know anything about it (which may not be the case at it later turns out that the app actually works pretty well), or they really have a patent... However they need to rely on external/public data and create new data through sharing. That's what constitutes the web, as said by one of the panelist.
