Utah Most Tech Savvy State

Really? When I read this I was a little shocked! But maybe I shouldn’t have been.
The state was chosen based on a survey of state CIOs and senior execs from across the US. It was conducted by the Center for Digital Government, a national research and advisory group. The survey has been around for over 10 years now, and has gleaned some really useful information. Noted Cathilea Robinett, exec VP of the center:
“Since our inaugural survey in 1997, we’ve seen a steady advance in the quality of technology solutions implemented by state governments for their citizens… The bar is constantly being raised by public sector technology leaders creating topnotch services.”
Next time you’re in Utah check out how many iPhones and BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM)’s you see. Might be more than you expected
