Reader input required: how would you test a ruggedised handset?

I thought I would put up one last post regarding the soon-to-be handset testing that is going to occur at IntoMobile’s UK Bureau…. for those of you that didn’t see the other posts, we are going to test three ruggedised handsets until they either squeal, or give away or some industrial secrets about their makers!
…only joking – but we are going to have an inventory of tests to see just who is the “tuffest” (did you like what I did with the street slang there…). As per my other posts, and for the final time:
What I am looking for is 5 tests, to match the 5 (working) days of the week – ranging from “gentle” (if there is such a thing in a ruggedised test!) through to “downright nasty” – once we have our top 5, I will post ‘em up, and we can get to testing!
So get commenting, and let us know what you’d like to see
[Note: keep it sensible folks, any tests that will be either offensive to people, animals, or delicate inanimate objects won’t make it through - the idea is to give these devices a thorough test in the ‘everyday environment’]
The plan is to video the tests, at least with semi-decent equipment, so everyone can enjoy reflect on the battering these devices are going to get – all in the name of science of course

Not sure if you’ve got time for it, but AT&T released a tough lil handset, the Rugby, last week… More competition the better.
throw it in the ocean and do a little bit of snorkeling!
play soccer with it,
use it as a weapon and throw it at someone hard,
have the dogs go at it,
and of course a little bit of baseball never hurt anyone lol
