Rogers is ramping up their marketing campaign for RIM’s first flip BlackBerry, and now folks in the Great White North can sign up to be notified when the BlackBerry 8220 is launched. Some have been turned off due its size, and the recessed trackball might take some getting used to, but in the end, this is a pretty big step for RIM to get out of the boardroom and into the mainstream. Features will include Wi-Fi b/g, a 240 x 320 internal display matched up with a 128 x 160 external, 2 megapixel camera with video recording and should be hitting up T-Mobile and Rogers sometime this fall.
