Telus HTC S720 gets Windows Mobile 6.1 update

HTC sure is busy these days. With a product launch inaugurating the Android OS on T-Mobile (NYSE: DT)’s network tomorrow, you’d think our favorite Windows Mobile smartphone manufacturer would be too busy to bring out Windows Mobile 6.1. But, no. HTC’s all about customer service, and they’re not going to let HTC S720 owners go without an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1.
The Telus HTC S720 apparently gets a nice little boost to EVDO Rev. A data speeds with the Windows Mobile 6.1. And, with other stability improvements in tow, the HTC S720 in your pocket shouldn’t be without Windows Mobile 6.1.
