T-Mobile and HTC just took the proverbial wraps off of their highly-anticipated T-Mobile G1 (HTC Dream). We’re still trying to come to terms with the prospect of actually being able to put hands on the gPhone (Google Phone) in the near future, and we’re already saving up for a T-Mobile G1 of our very own. In the meanwhile, we’ll just have to make do with the myriad videos, Android demonstrations, and the brand-new T-Mobile G1 web portal.

With push Gmail, Google Maps with integrated Street View, that huge touchscreen display, and a full QWERTY keyboard, the T-Mobile G1 is everything we’ve been expecting. And, now that it’s finally been announced… we’ll have to wait a bit longer. Delayed gratification is soo overrated.
