Nokia Photos 1.5 beta released

Nokia (NYSE: NOK) Beta Labs has recently released the new version of Nokia Photos. While still in beta, the version 1.5 adds many improvements to the application, including:
- New look with better user interface and Ovi branding (Timeline and Organise views)
- Improved support for importing images from non-Nokia devices
- Tools for adding and visualising geo-tagged images (Maps View)
- Improved integration with “Share on Ovi” and other Nokia services such as XpressPrint Print Online
It’s important to note that this is still a beta application and may be unstable. However, Nokia is getting better every day and we’ve no doubts they’re getting ready to clash with Google (NSDQ: GOOG) and their service offering. While still not Picasa, Nokia Photos is certainly getting there…
