The other week some rumors surfaced regarding a Bell Canadian exclusive for RIM’s upcoming touch device, the BlackBerry Storm, which conflicted directly with earlier info on Telus availability. Well, it turns out all the confusion is over an ongoing bidding war between Canada’s two major CDMA carriers for exclusivity of the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) 9530. Bell apparently has the top bid right now, after jumping into the fray following Telus (NYSE: TU)’ initial claim. The latest rumors put a BlackBerry Storm release date at November 2nd., meaning this auction can only go on for so long.
