Prototype Sony Ericsson M610i available on eBay

Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) has been working on this thing for eons now, and after going for about 8 months without hearing a thing, it might have been safe to presume the project was canned. Well, it’s on eBay for about £88.00, and while it might not be much to look at (especially without a camera), once the M610i gets a public launch this one could be the choice handset for tight-lipped enterprises that are twitchy about corporate espionage, the M610i will make a good collector’s item since it’ll still never see the light of day. Specs include…
- 320 x 240 QVGA 262k color touchscreen display
- WCDMA 3G (UMTS)/GSM 900/1800/1900mhz
- 166 MB built-in memory, Memory Stick Micro support
- QWERTY keyboard implemented similar to Sony Ericsson P1
- WIFI
- FM radio
- Symbian OS UIQ3

Thanks Koris and well-read commentors for busting my chops.

Huh? The m600i was canned like 40 years ago. Why would SE possibly be releasing a successor now? Was this an old post re-published by mistake or something?
This total rubbish. UIQ and SE are no longer in partnership.
I was told more then 6 months ago by SE that theM610i were scrapped…
Hi guys, thanks for the correction. This thing was well before my time with anything but BlackBerry – still learning something new every day.
If the 610i is well and truly dead, then this prototype is at very least a decent collector’s item.
