Nevermind Moore’s Law, what about Murphy’s Law (on Technology!)

NetLingo is a great resource – they are always on the money for the latest tech speak and terminology – take the mail I got the other day for example, telling me a wide variety of Murphy’s Law(s) on Technology. I’ve only put a few of the ones that amused me below, but you’ll have to go to NetLingo’s site to see the full selection:
- An expert is one who knows more and more about less and less until he knows absolutely everything about nothing
- To err is human, but to really foul things up requires a computer
- Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic
- Fill what’s empty. Empty what’s full. And scratch where it itches

When in doubt, refer to Murphy’s Laws.
