Australia’s Telstra in final stages of HSPA+ network upgrades

Australia-based Telstra will be among the first mobile operators in the world to upgrade its network to enhanced HSPA, which is also known as HSPA+. Once the upgrades are finished, lucky Australians on the carrier’s Next G network will experience download speeds of up to 21Mbps! That’s twenty-one megabits per second baby.
Naturally, that’s just one step on Telstra (and other carriers’, for that matter) route towards LTE, when speeds will be increased even more. In the meantime, until LTE arrives globally we would like to see other telcos adopting Telstra’s route, instead of waiting for the LTE. Twenty megabits is quite enough to keep us in the loop for some time, don’t you think?
