Tranquility is a neat application for stressed iPhone and iPod Touch users, featuring professionally-recorded sounds and a set of “beautiful” images which combined should help reduce your stress level. In addition, it could also help you sleep better, or at least the company behind the app, Freeverse, suggests so.
Some of Tranquility’s features include iPhone-like easy to use interface with touch-and-swipe controls, custom-length soundtracks, endless loop mode, “dynamic-range inspiring graphics,” as well as a 60-minute long relaxation and mediation track.
As for the mentioned images, there’s a handful of “aural landscapes” like Zen Meditation, Ocean Waves, Flowing Water, Rain, White Noise, Thunderstorms and Mechanical Hums.
Finally, Tranquility costs a buck ($0.99) and you can already grab it through AppStore.
