France: Orange launches mutli-channel cinema package

France: Orange is launching a new pack of channels – all movie-based. The five channels will be ready from mid-November, at 12 EUR/month for TV and PC, and 6 EUR/month on Mobile. If that weren’t enough, access to the channels will be both live broadcast, and VoD (Video-on-Demand).
The package apparently has more than 1200 films – along with a numer of other related series and documentaries – nice! The content is licensed fro a number of the big boys you would expect, plus some French CPs, so it should be a nice mix of mainstream and more esoteric.
Orange has also put together a nice offer whereby TV viewers generally will have free access until the end of November, and new customers will get the first three months free (assuming they signup before 14th Jan 09). Mobile users will get free access until 12th Jan 09.
