Nokia 5800 XpressMusic spotted on FCC with non-US 3G bands

This post is about two news, one good and the bad one. The good news is that the Nokia (NYSE: NOK)’s all-touchscreen wonder, 5800 XpressMusic, has been spotted at the FCC’s website. The bad news, though, is that the Tube FCC folks got doesn’t support the proper 3G frequencies (HSDPA 850/1900 MHz), thus this version can’t sing along AT&T (NYSE: T)’s 3G network.
But not all is bad. We’re sure the Finnish giant will be releasing the 5800 XpressMusic with US-friendly bands sometime next year. Stay tuned, in the meantime…
