The wow shiny new and super easy MP3 music downloads

So Nectar emailed me the other day to let me know about a new mp3 download store they have launched – just to be clear, this is a UK-only store – based on their Nectar reward card.
Most people in the UK will be familiar with Nectar I think – it’s a joint venture between a number of UK high-street retailers, to have a common card for collecting “points” on (hence the mention of them above in the image). The idea is you can collect Nectar points from a number of sources, and likewise spend at various points too – examples being Sainsburys, Debenhams, and Argos.
I think the Nectar system is pretty well managed, and convenient if you shop at these retailers anyway – so it’s going to be great to see what the download store is like. The only downside I can see (again, you can see from the image) is that you have to buy song packages, worth a number of points – any tiered system means if you fall just short with your accrued points, it can be very frustrating. Anyhoo, let’s see what people make of it – thoughts, our UK readership?
You can visit the Nectar music store here.
