LG Rhythm lands on Alltel, too

Just when we saw the LG Rhythm being announced for US Cellular, one more carrier is joining the party. It’s Alltel Wireless, which just announced addition of the music-centric phone to its portfolio.

As we’ve previously mentioned, the LG phone sports a 1-inch circular touchscreen with interactive UI, 1.3 megapixel camera with video recording capability, music player, FM transmitter, Bluetooth and streaming video support. In addition, users can expect the chat-style text messaging, which is similar to the SMS app on the iPhone.

In a nutshell, it’s a neat device for those that look for an easy-to-use phone that can also act as an MP3 player. Alltel is offering the LG Rhythm in black or white for $119.99 after $50 mail-in-rebate and with a two-year contract…
