BlackBerry 9000 Bold slated for October 27 launch on AT&T?

With all this waiting and hoping for AT&T (NYSE: T) and RIM to get their act together and finally launch the long-awaited BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) 9000 Bold in the US, we’re glad to hear that internal AT&T documents hint at a Bold launch date (pun intended?) on October 27.
Of course, the BlackBerry Bold should have already been launched in the US. With vague launch windows and non-committal responses from AT&T, fans of the BlackBerry Bold’s high-resolution display, 3G data connectivity, GPS, WiFi, and sleek styling have been left out in the cold. Today, that has all changed. Boy Genius has managed to get his hands on internal docs show that the BlackBerry Bold ETA on AT&T is set at October 27.
Keep in mind that the ETA launch window is all tentative until we get official word from AT&T, but there’s a significant glimmer of hope that the highly anticipated BlackBerry 9000 Bold will finally arrive in the US next week. We wouldn’t recommend holding your breath on this one.

I HAVE BEEN WAITING AN ETERNITY FOR THE BOLD!!!!! IF IT DOESNT COME OUT THE 27TH of OCTOBER I WILL CANCEL MY CONTRACT WITH ATT, I AM SICK OF WAITING!!! THIS SHOULD HAVE COME OUT A LONG TIME AGO. IF THE 27TH release is not true i will get the T-mobile G1!!!
I asked an AT&T store employee today and he said the launch date was now set for 10/28, but that he strongly felt it would be delayed again.
I visited the AT&T store in a north suburban Chicago town, and the salesman had no idea when it was coming out. He said he hears more from customers, than from AT&T, on release information. Maybe they should have mandatory sales meetings…..
Delays are a part of the biz. Unfortunately, the Bold has been proof of this….
I am really looking forward to checking out this new device. Looking forward to taking it on a test drive. I hope they don’t keep us waiting too long!
