Low-end LG VX5500 coming soon to Verizon this month

Verizon (NYSE: VZ) Wireless will adding a new low-end device to its portfolio later this month. It’s the LG VX5500 clamshell, which because of its “low-end nature” won’t impress anyone with its features. To be fair, this affordable baby packs a Bluetooth support, two color screens (internal and external), VGA camera and it can also sing along the carrier’s Mobile Web 2.0 service. Unfortunately, there’s no microSD memory card slot, meaning you can’t actually use the VX5500 as a music player. Still for $50 after rebate and with a contract you shouldn’t expect much more, right?
