While the FCC report doesn’t specifically make reference to this here handset as the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Storm/Thunder/9500/9530, it does look like the BlackBerry Storm has finally taken the checkered flag over at the FCC testing labs. Engadget Mobile dug up this little gem of an FCC report and we’ve got to agree that the “RIM smartphone” in question is the soon-to-be-released BlackBerry Storm.

As with all high-stakes product launches, RIM has requested that the FCC maintain a shroud of secrecy around anything related to this particular handset – which further confirms that said handset is indeed the BlackBerry Storm.

We’ll be seeing the Storm hitting retail channels soon, sit tight!
