MySpace out with Android app

Today MySpace announced the mobile application for Google (NSDQ: GOOG)’s Android platform, allowing (future) HTC G1 owners to do their “e-social thing” while on-the-go. From the dedicated app, users can do such things as upload photos, check out tour schedules on band profiles, as well as identify music via Shazam and connect to the artist’s MySpace page…
We’ll certainly see other social networks (i.e. Facebook) following MySpace’s steps in “going Android”, just like we saw it happening on the iPhone. Stay tuned…
