Nokia 1606 lands on Cricket Wireless

If you’ve been looking for a really simple and easy to use phone, Cricket Wireless may have something for you, as they’ve just added the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) 1606 to their portfolio. The entry-level clamshell can be used for texting, making and taking phone calls, and that’s about it. It lacks a camera, memory expansion slot and MP3 playback software. However, it is capable for running Cricket games and apps on its 1.8-inch 128×160 pixels screen, if anyone actually cares about it.
The Nokia 1606 could be yours for $129.99 if you grab it in a Cricket store, or for $20 less if bought online.
