But, when things go wrong with the iPhone, you can bet that iPhone fans around the world will make the problem known.

The latest glitch to hit the iPhone and iPhone 3G seems to be a problem connecting to valid and working WiFi networks. The iPhones are reportedly failing to maintain a Wifi connection to a proven WiFi networks.

Thankfully, Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) is swapping out defective iPhone and iPhone 3G handsets, citing “hardware issues.”

But, before you go into an Apple store for your replacement, try restarting your iPhone, or purging the WiFi network information under Settings>WiFi>[Network Name]>Forget This Network.
