AdMob, the mobile ad agency, has secured USD $15.7mn, which it will use to hire local staff in key markets, and also to add new languge interfaces. AdMob served 4.5bn ads in September 2008, and has announced its publisher network now includes more than 6,000 partners worldwide.
Apparently AdMob is the world’s biggest mobile ad network, and that has happened in just two years – all the more impressive when you consider the current economic conditions globally.
As I have said many times before, Mobile Ads are here, big time – better get used to them too, because chances are that going forward, you won’t be able to access content or info on the InterWeb without crossing them in one channel or another!
