O2 (NYSE: TEF) has scored the exclusive launch rights for the long-awaited Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) Xperia X1 handset. The all-in-one Windows Mobile smartphone packs all the things you could possibly need on your mobile device — including 3G (HSDPA), WiFi, GPS, large WVGA (800×480 pixels) touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera, and a whole lot more.

It is available for 329.99 EUR with a contract, or 619.99 EUR sans any agreements signed.

Later in the year, T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) Germany and Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) D2 will also add the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 to their portfolios.
