blackberry myspace MySpace app for BlackBerry on the way

Alright, all you hipster kids who are too cool for Facebook – MySpace is coming to BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) soon. Right from your BlackBerry, you’ll be able to change moods and status, send messages, search for friends, browse and upload photos, and check bulletins. Early screenshots show it as looking pretty much exactly like the Facebook application, but that hardly means it’s not worth RIM’s while to keep tapping into the gigantic social networking crowd out there. MySpace Music is hugely popular among musicians, so it would be cool if RIM could integrate some streaming audio into the application down the line. Should we dare to dream of further multimedia/social networking cross-breeding, MySpaceTV is also reasonably hoppin’, and could make a fine addition to the mobile app.

I’ve been signed up for notification about this app’s release for over a month now. I’ve been waiting for so long and I’m beginning to wonder if it will ever come out!
