HTC Touch HD now available in the UK!

In a move that has the rest of us Yankees sobbing tears of jealous envy, it looks like HTC is blessing the United Kingdom with the almost unbelievable 3.8-inch WVGA (800 x 480) touchscreen goodness that is the HTC Touch HD. With that ridiculously large, high-resolution display, 3G data connectivity, GPS, WiFi, and a 5 megapixel camera, the HTC Touch HD takes the cake as the “gotta have” Windows Mobile smartphone of the year (and coming year, for that matter).

While that’s all good and well for those lucky Brits with pockets deep enough to scrounge up the £515 (~$825) that DeviceWire is asking for the HTC Touch HD, those of us on the other side of the pond will just have to wait and hope that HTC changes their mind and decides to bring the HTC Touch HD to The States.
Oh, HTC. Why do you tease us so?

No way! They need to bring it over here sooner rather than later, it looks brilliant…
I got myself a Diamond earlier this year and am sort of wishing I’d waited for the Pro, because of the slide-out keyboard. In any case, the Diamond is a pretty decent phone in itself, and my email access is awesome.
