Until now, Remember the Milk fans with iPhones used a special website optimized for the handset’s Safari browser to access and manage their tasks. That will no longer be the case, as the popular task management service is now available as a native application in the AppStore.

As a native app, it works much faster (than the web version) and doesn’t require constant Internet connection. You can manage your tasks offline and sync them with RTM’s web server as soon as connection is available. This will be great feature for frequent flyers.

In addition, thanks to the built-in search functionality, RTM native app allows users to quickly locate a task they’re looking for. Finally, the application takes advantage of iPhone 3G’s built-in GPS, enabling users to see and add “Nearby” tasks, which is kinda neat.

Remember the Milk for iPhone is a free application, but you’ll need to be an RTM Pro member. If you still haven’t signed up for the Pro membership, now may be the time to do so.
