BlackBerry Storm from Vodafone

Vodafone has nailed down November 14th. as their launch date for the BlackBerry Storm, RIM’s first touchscreen device in Europe. As aptly pointed-out, the preorder page is listing November 18th. as the launch date, but I’m tempted to think they just need to update the site in light of the press release. The wording is a little confusing: “Customers who want to be the first in the UK to have a BlackBerry Storm can pre-order in Vodafone stores, online at www.vodafone.co.uk/storm and telesales, and account managers for our business customers from November 14.” Preorders have been available for awhile now, so they can’t mean preorders start on the 14th. One way or the other, the Storm’s coming this month in the UK, and that’s enough to get folks excited. Linked in the press release is a nice little video review of some British chap cooing about how nice the clicky screen feels, and I wholeheartedly agree – the Storm feels pretty sweet.
